I went to Sainsbury's this morning, just before 8 am. 7-8am was reserved for NHS staff, 8-9am for over 70s. The manager and a member of staff were checking, no one was challenging or difficult. There were a few older people who went in at 8 when I did. I got everything we need.
On the way out everyone who'd been shopping in those time slots was invited to choose a bunch of flowers. They were surplus from mothers' day. It was a lovely gesture, and it obviously brightened people's day. I'd had two lovely bouquets yesterday from my children, so I gave mine to our new neighbour who is not feeling too good and is self isolating.
Thank you Sainsbury's.
