You could do instant mash Zoon, not the Smash cr*p, there's one called Idahoan which is great if you don't feel like peeling spuds.

I don't mind peeling potatoes Alex..If I did, the Idahoan sounds good..They grow good spuds in Idaho..I had boiled-soft, big-cut spuds, gravy and peas with my sausages..Very tasty too..

Mushy peas are nicest cold, just like beans.  You may find the flatulence is reduced that way Klondy
Tip there then zoony. With your weight loss and a monster tin eat them cold in small portions to avoid lift off.

I've never had a problem with legume-led flatulence K..Life-long lover of baked beans..Though not so much in the modern era..Sadly, not much left of the original recipe..

I use Smash to make potato croquettes - Smash, butter, grated cheese and herbs - great. To be fair, I had not even heard of your alternative - perhaps it is even better

Oh, and I NEVER feel like peeling spuds. I leave the skin on for boiled spuds (obviously don't try to mash boiled skin on spuds - but who knows...)

Posh restaurants serve those as 'crushed potatoes'... 😄

That sounds a good idea Michael, I have used Smash in the past, but have been converted to the Idahoan packets.
