Me and my bag..
« on: May 03, 2020, 11:40:49 AM »

This morning I went for a walk, other than my normal walk around the block..

I realised that this is the first time in SIX WEEKS where I have been out with my bag over my shoulder.. It felt a bit strange..
I saw a small queue outside Morrisons.. Some were wearing face masks... They looked like robbers.. Two people queuing outside M&S.. ghost town..
Then after a while the heavens opened and it poured.. and the queues were gone..!!
Everyone went home..  I got wet..
I think it is safer indoors.. ;D
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

OH went for a walk.  He realised that he did not have his phone on him.  Normally he always has his wallet in his pocket but that is in the drawer so if anything had happened to him, nobody would have known who he was.  We both drew money from the cash point a couple of months ago but none of it has been used.  My bag is also put away.  Strange times.

As a strong opponent of the push for a 'cashless society' it came as a shock that I haven't paid for anything with cash for over three weeks - but it is because of fear and lack of opportunity, not choice
