My daughters and myself can not have a mortgage holiday because none of us have a mortgage.

We're in a similar position, plus we also can't claim for fire or flood damage on our insurance as we haven't had a fire or a flood.

I don't know the Ts &Cs of mortgage holidays but the credit card ones just let you off the penalty for missing a payment but still charge interest way above base rate!

On a mortgage they still have to pay the interest but there is no impact on their credit score or other charges.
Oddly I spoke to somebody who is dealing with mortgage holidays and he says a few think they will just be let off paying for 3 months but that is not the case.

Nor us! And as we no longer work, we can't take our employers to a tribunal for not treating us fairly.  😱

Hey Brian. Our council gave all tenants rwo rent free weeks in April to help during the Chinese Flu. Has yours done this.?
