As Klondike has said on several occasions, the argument isn't about different cultures, it's about numbers.

Diasi.  Not entirely sure about that, as it does appear that that those from some countries, do have a higher proportion of the  criminal element.

Labour wants more people in to sate their idealist zealots and now burgeoning new immigrant voters. The Conservative party is biz that is happy for growth at any cost because it brings in dosh whilst lowering wages with more competition. Both don't care about the erosion of the green fields of England,or whats left. England will soon be one big conjoining suburb wherein you catch the 84 bus from one wasteland to another,Morrisons-to-Tescos petrol. On a Dominic Cummings must-do run to a local farm shop two days ago, I espied a new forest of Persimmon homes had mushroomed at either end of the city I live in. The new homes will probably take 5 foot beds and leak petro chemicals from their artificial and shoddy interiors.  These rat homes are for our 'locals',natural born folk who have to move outta the cities cos the cities are turning into replicas of Kabul: dumps. Its basically shod-ville all round. The Farage will be seeing all this a-happening down in Kent cos the towns down there have become decrepit with lottsa houses being built over the green pastures of a once-was beautiful county

I agree, Kent is fast becoming a horrible place.

It should be simple to deal with criminality. A serious enough crime means deportation after serving their sentence for foreign nationals and refused re-entry. The rest treated the same as white Brits and that means no looking the other way for fear of cries of racism.

Which is why the most important bit is the numbers.

They can't commit crimes in the UK if they're not getting into the UK.

The biggest problem to me is that ANY criminal illegals are not only being allowed in but are assisted by our Government to do so.

We have enough problems with those the EU ( Germany ) have made us take to help to make them feel better about their mass guilt complex.

Then we have millions more from the ex colonies who have a right to come here, as we've already heard we could be getting people from Hong Kong, it won't be many, a few hundred, how many times have we heard that before.

We've been invaded and we're stuck with it.

Margaret Thatcher's government changed the law so that colonials do not have the right of abode in Britain. I would prefer loyal colonials to entitled illegals though.

I'd prefer none of them but I never had a choice in the matter.

Ive said this for some time but I would not limit it to serious crime but would make it a penalty for comparatively minor offences like burglary and robbery. Not that I regard these as minor but I suppose we have to draw the line somewhere.

At one time they had the death penalty for stealing a sheep.

And if they claim that deportation would result in their persecution or even execution then what?

You would be surprised how many guys from Africa and the Middle East claim that they are gay so as to avoid deportation.

Which law would that be ?

Presumably The Immigration Act 2016 (Part 6 Border Security)

A Lib Dem dominated statute from Cameron's 'lickspittle' administration, that could stand editing with a Govt now 'supposedly' of a different persuasion and majority. However the faceless 'Remainers' will not support amendment and with Keir Starmer's persuasion leading the opposition, fierce objections will resound. Then it has to pass in the Lords, well stocked with Liberals, Socialists and 'Cross-bencher' stonewallers, endemically opposed to immigration control per se. That's without the Civil Service, who will actively oppose any change, just for the sake of it.

Exiting the EU at the year end is also now very unlikely to happen considering the army of remainers presently ensconced in the arboretum above.

Isn't that why the BBC wants to replace Dominic Cummings? I gather that any change to the end of the "transition period" must be made really soon now, and he opposes any change.

Official last chance to seek to extend it is the end of June but make no mistake the EU would be willing right up to 23:00 on 31 December and beyond if possible. It ain't over til the EU is which could come soon I reckon.
Certainly I hope to live to see it.
