Energy debt.

I think that fuel debt should not be a problem to people. If they are getting furlough they will be saving on commuting costs which can be offset against the extra fuel costs.
I spoke to a gent who has been working at home for 4 years. He says he has made provision to replace his carpet where his laptop is  every 5 years.

Oh come on at least it seems to be a different specific aspect of money and Brian's view on what other people he knows nothing about should be able to afford.

As a bonus there is even a different Man featured albeit an incredibly boring one.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Like he says if you spend more time at home you tend to use more electricity and gas if it is cold and you run machines etc., also use more water and toilet paper. We shall all be suffering from Pelican Syndrome.

Ashy is very good at making this stuff up himself. That's almost certainly why we have never heard it before.

I may have thought I made it up but it was played in Blackadder III by Blackadder, in the butler's kitchen with Baldrick, in Amy and Amiability.

"Honestly, Baldrick, sometimes I feel like a pelican: Whichever way I turn I've still got an enormous bill in front of me."
