Great news although it is a long time since I have been to Tiptree Tea Rooms but I always enjoyed it there when I have been, plus the one in Dedham, that's a lovely place as well. ;D

Although not near this one, i deam of going out for lovely tea and cakes again, or just plain going out will do.


Just served three months inside and not even convicted of a crime!

Well said Jaq and I want to go out and have a bit of fun in my old age even if the wife insists on coming with me. Surely it's not too much to ask. We are working on designing a mask with a flap in it so you can eat a scone.

Yes Ashy, Ill have to take my husband with me too, as he is the driver quite difficult not to, anyway he can pay.  Like your mask with a flap idea!

In January, I was in York for a weekend.  Tea and fat rascals in Betty's was a must. Its famous in the north.  I'll look forward to a return visit!

Memories of holidays in York and Bettys tearooms, I love York so much.


Been told today by the Welsh government that my shielding  is to be extended to 15 August, so no chance of teas anywhere but home  for the forseeable
