I'm surprised you don't see them. Are you sure? There is often no obvious black and white striping visible more a mucky brown. Here's an example I pulled from Google...

We don't get all that much traffic around here - as I mentioned in another thread, when I used the A3 from Surbiton to Guildford daily I saw lots of dead foxes, probably an average of something like three a day in the 40 mile return trip (of course, sometimes I would be seeing the same corpses several times) - but pheasants apart, I see very little roadkill.

We see plenty on the run to our caravan. Probably explains why there is such a big population of Red Kites along the route but strangely enough I've never seen one down by the road.

Your right about the badgers, farmers have admitted it.
Thanks for your confirmation. I've never seen anything about them admitting it but it's the onlt thing that makes any sense to me.
