I do envy you your peacock gm.  Does he belong to anyone or is he wild?  They have them at Ruthin Castle and I remember them being noisy.

When we were in India last Christmas, there was a peacock who lived on the side of a quiet road leading to the beach.

He is a most beautiful bird !... He comes to breakfast every day. He has made a friend of a fat pidgeon....and they share the food... We do not know
from where he comes from, and he roosts in the very large mountain ash tree at the side of the bungalow. We have some large estates around us, and
Jenny said he left because he was not happy where he was  ??? I would prefer him to be in a Sanctuary. But cannot find one around here. We are in the large  birds reserve on the broad, and he has plenty of places he could go for shelter in the winter. They do fly, apparently. Not very far, but enough to take care of themselves. Apparently they can eat cat food ???? He loves to display his amazing tail !! gmx

Ahhh!!  Walnut whip..!!!

We used to eat the walnut first... bite the top off the pyramid and , with our tongues, lick the soft gooey stuff inside..

My eyes aren't too good these days but I know a walnut whip when I see one. I'm sure the last one I had, had a half walnut on top but not in the bottom. I might just have had an unlucky bottom but these makers are pretty good about these things.

I think the nut is still there..  It’s not a walnut whip without it.

They sell chocolate with nuts inside.. and peanut brittle.. Surely a person with a nut allergy can see a walnut stuck on the top of chocolate as being a threat..

Some years ago I bought a "Seed and Nut Bar". On the back there was a warning, "This product MAY contain seeds and nuts".

I agree. I was only quoting the blurb. Personally, I think the price of walnuts has more to do with it.

Walnuts are good for the memory, they look like a little brain 🙂
