Bad Luck for Councils.
« on: Jul 02, 2020, 09:01:56 AM »
A woman claiming to be a social worker was moaning because a stepson would not pay his step mothers care fees. His parents house had been willed to him on the proviso he let the step mother live in the house until death or entering care. He had done that so he was not legally obliged to do any more.
Birmingham City Council is debt ridden but that is of no concern to the step son.

Sir Lancelot's Squire was also called Brian. There's not many people know that.

You're correct, the stepson had no legal obligation to fund her care fees.

In fact children have no obligation to funds their actual parent's care fees.

Isn't it a fact though, that where tenants in common are not related to one another, and a will places the property in abayance for a third party, given the exceptions of early closing and pancake Tuesday, that no obligation whatsoever will be taken for your hat and coat if left in this car park overnight.

There is a lot in what you say Ashy. Mostly a lot of 💩 but I suppose we can't have everything and at least it is brand new 💩 and gives me an opportunity to remind folks of 💩 which isn't to be sniffed at.
