Covid-19 Figures.
« on: Jul 02, 2020, 09:28:18 PM »
The UK's strangely high Covid -19 figures have become blindingly clear to me today.

We're arranging for my wife to have an MRI scan done privately & it was necessary to get a copy of the GP's referral letter to the NHS hospital.

The letter contained a short list of her most recent health issues & Covid-19 was included as a suspected cause despite her never having seen the GP who did a telephone assessment.

Now my wife has only been out of the house once since Xmas 2019 & I certainly haven't had any of the symptoms of Covid-19 & neither has she.

Therefore, if Covid-19 is going onto peoples health records willy nilly without a shred of evidence, no wonder the figures are so high.

Thanks Mick but it's unlikely she's going to live to a ripe old age, it's a case of having her for as long as possible.

We both know that & we've discussed it.

The Covid-19 diagnosis didn't relate to her main health issues but nevertheless it's now on her record & was entered without the slightest reason.

I have wondered about the reporting accuracy too.  🙄

I hope your wife is as pain free as possible Phil. You're probably already aware, but in case you're not, your hospital may have a dedicated team of pain specialists.  Sometimes drugs prescribed by GPs and other medics may not be the most effective, the pain specialists can make a difference.

The symptoms of Covid-19 are so commonplace - high temperature, cough, etc., that without specific testing perhaps it is tempting to enter it in records as a possible diagnosis whenever such symptoms are present regardless of actual cause

In my experience, 'query' diagnoses, those that might be relevant but are so far un-diagnosed,  are normally indicated by a question mark before the ailment..i.e, '?Covid 19'..Was that the case?

I have a theory that more deaths are being attributed to COV than have actually died. I may be wrong but 23,000 bodies is a lot and I haven't even seen one funeral or hearse this year. Could it be that hospitals are reporting a number of deaths and registrars are counting them again when they are registered a few days later. In any case the majority of death certificates are no more than an opinion. How come the figures suddenly sky rocketed on 23rd March?

That's the whole point I'm making.

My wife, who has an annual flu jab, hasn't had one single symptom of the common cold, the seasonal flu, a cough, a high temperature, a low O2 saturation level or any of the other myriad of symptoms from what seems to have become a catch-all check list.

In her case it's as relevant as putting Covid-19 as a possible cause for a broken leg.

This could explain why I don't know anybody with Covid.
http://altrincham.today/2020/07/01/news/trafford-fewer-four-positive-covid-19-cases-every-100000-people-new-data-shows/
Oldham 27.8 Rochdale 28.8, I wonder why the huge difference to Trafford ?.

I mentioned this in a recent post.. I think the numbers of deaths/ sufferers of covid-19 dished out to us on a regular basis is to be taken with a pinch of salt..
I read that, many a time,  when asked for  'cause of death' covid-19 was given, when not proven..

I'm not in any way saying that we don't have a BIG problem with this virus.. I'm saying that we are not always told the true numbers.. For what reason I know not.

Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

Look after yourself Diasi. Take care.

What to believe, who to trust? Making things out. Strange days.

You can never be sure of what's what these days. So many agendas. So many pressure groups.

I hear you can buy 10s of thousands of followers via payment from India or Pakistan to big-up your profile to add to your own agenda theseadays. Its smoke and mirrors stuff.

I tend to believe my neighbours personal experience more than any government rep theseadays. I am left with working things out my own way. Always pleased to be proved wrong because I naturally err on the cynical side. Its always nice to be proved wrong cos then I automatically get good news in place of my own prejudice for bad news

Being on the 'shielded' list I tend to check the Wirral figures on the 'In Your Area' app every day.  The increase has slowed right down but Wednesday was 1368 and Thursday 2016.

I don't know what has happened but something's wrong.

My 'ladies who lunch' group have been zooming as we are not allowed to go to lunch.  Anyway yesterday we had a meeting in a humanist memorial garden on the banks of The Mersey.  One of our friends has a bench there and we managed to find a group of benches where we could sit and chat whilst maintaining a distance.  It's a lovely garden and it was good to see my friends, even though it was in a cemetery!
