The composer, famous for his film scores, has died, aged 91

I heard some of his music on the radio this morning.. They played the music from  The Mission.. It was beautiful.


He wrote the theme music for  The Good The Bad the Ugly and  Fistful of Dollars.


He was brilliant..

Apparently he wrote the scores for over 70 films - must say I really enjoy his scores

He was one hell of an inventor too - just think of that pocket watch in For a Few Dollars More!  :)

Senor Morricone wrote the musical score for one of my favorite films of the eighties Cinema Paradiso. Absolutely beautiful both film & music.Audrine What a genius he was.
