I miss...
« on: Jul 25, 2020, 12:27:05 AM »
So much the ability I had to play my old guitar..It was always there for me to laugh with and long with, to think with write with..I miss picking it up to pick along with something I like, remember or think I can improve on or just pick it up and play..Now my neuropathy dictates that I cant..I miss that so much..

I miss my ability to walk for miles without even thinking about it. I once walked across the entire city of Venice.I used to spend hours trolling around antiques fairs. Now I have to buy online.

The people I have lost
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me.

I miss the regular telephone chats with many old friends who have now passed on.

I miss my youthful stamina and good health. Things I used to do without even thinking about it are often hard for me now. Since I had my knee operations my balance is very bad and that's put paid to a lot of my activities. :'(

I miss my old friend Edna.. She had a severe stroke a couple of years back..and can do very little..

I miss out trips to Brighton.. Our car boots and tip runs.. Our laughter..
I do have other mates but Edna was special..

I miss not being able to do the things I used to...……. like long walks, or even short walks ! driving 80 odd miles to Leeds, walk around all day then drive home,  wallpapering,  😃and I miss my Dad not being there to ask.

I lived in the past...I was depressed... :'( I lived in the future...I got anxious... ???   I am training to try and live in the present, and take one day at a time, and slowly make the most of what I can do...and enjoy the day. :) granny moss x
