The only live programmes I have watched (and even then I had recorded them!) in the last month have been the cricket highlights
Mike
Very similar for me except I didn't watch the cricket  ;D

I'm not a cricket fan so I record the highlights & set the box to play them back when I'm asleep or out at the shop. ;D

I adopt that procedure too, except in my case it's anything to do with Madeleine McCann. ;)

For me watching most sports is like watching paint dry.

I dont mind winter sports or motor racing because there is always a chance of a spectactular accident.

Years ago.....Micky and I were visiting our friends at Sandrigham house....The estate agent and his wife. A knock at the door, and in came Elizabeth and Philip....Elizabeth asked : Can we come in and watch " Crossroads" with you ? We have been banished up at the house, because the rest want to watch.....We stood up politely, with a smile and took our leave...getting lost in the grounds and needed the warden in his van, to show us the way out...."THEY" were absolutely so lovely ! And, yes, they watched "Crossroads" So our friends told us. I watched Coronation street, when at the beginning it was a real good program. These days I do not watch Soaps anymore. Too much violence and unpleasant confrontations. I prefer more documentaries and factual stories. Only my personal likes. gmx

The uninterested don't have to indulge - like fine wines, it's not to the taste of everyone
