I won't be buying clothes until I'm a bit thinner.
I love an optimist. IME weight wise that old labour slogan applies - the only way is up  :(

A man said pensioners should not be eating in cafe's today as they don't pay tax. I wish that was the case. I am paying more than the average Birmingham worker.

I believe pensioners tax is deducted at source. Am I right or wrong ?  Micky's uncle was a multi milionaire and he paid a lot of tax. Aunty had money of her own and she complained that she paid £34.000 tax that year (1947....! ) She had housekeeping allowance from uncle of £50 a week....Micky's income was about half of that for one month pay ! :D :D :D I was earning £3.50 a week, and paid for my season ticket out of that !!! :D :D :D cannot remember if tax was paid on that....gmx

Unnecessary. I have two lettuce leaves with my sausage bacon and eggs every morning. It used to be one but wasn't working so I upped the dose. Not sure I'll go to three though if it still doesn't work. I'll maybe add a celary stick instead.

Apparently eat out to help out half price meals is proving very popular. Amongst the places benefitting are police canteens according to the Mail

Sorry can't provide a cleavage story this time as twice in a day is too much for the old ticker seeing as I won't take statins.

I have to be. My legs hurt, probably because as well as extra weight I've not been getting my exercise in the pool and I can't be bothered to walk far. I'll have to cut out sugar, ie ice cream, yoghurt and biscuits.  We eat healthy meals, poached salmon salad tonight.  I rarely drink alcohol, cutting it out altogether is easy.  Damn my sweet tooth!

A celery stick would be good because you could use it to stir the frying pan, not sure what wine would go with it.

Wot you want is a nice bottle of Chateau Thames Embankment ('66?) It doesn't care what you drink it with..

Now you are just taking the mickey. I don't take any wine with my breakfast unless it is late enough for the sun to have risen above the yard arm. As I have surely made clear I am dieting. Why else the lettuce?
