I have a wee nagging doubt that it not so much they care, it's slightly more of any disaster that befalls you would be a bigger disaster for them and their lives.   And I totally respect that.  They expect a bit of invincibility from their elders. ;D 


p.s the "you" is generic meaning anyone including me.

Well, I'm not a pensioner yet, but:

1. Gentle waning of sexual urges.

2. Rapid waning of desperation to impress other people.

Must be my top 2 advantages of aging.

That's cheered me up no end as it means I'm not yet old.
