No papers
« on: Sep 05, 2020, 12:57:33 PM »
I've come to enjoy the luxury of having my newspapers delivered since lockdown but today they've been 'actioned' by protestors so my luxury is curtailed..Pain in the arse for me but a much bigger one for others involved. No matter, I have faith in Mr Chotai. They'll be here..

I started having my papers delivered once lockdown came into effect..
Mine were delivered this morning .. no problem. Thank you Nita and Paresh.

I cancelled Sat/Sun Mail ages ago, costs more than weekdays for all bloody adds, so although I still have weekdays delivered, i also subscribe to the digital on line option, which is for me easier to read.

I have gone off Newspapers. The content  does not appeal to me anymore.  I used to subscribe to monthly magazines, but they are so changed now! They hardly have any thing that interest me. I have lately subscribed to a local monthly that used to be fairly good in content. The first copy arrived, and it was truly a disappointment. I gave it away. Forgot all about it, and hope they do not deliver me anymore of the same.....gmx
