Not until Monday. Boris is barmy.
« on: Sep 12, 2020, 11:11:53 AM »
With virus rising everywhere why wait until Monday
to bring in 6 rule?
Can't Boris get into his head that there will be great gatherings
over this warm weekend, spreading it more.
Many will take this weekend opportunity to party before Monday.

If the Buck stops here how can the Doe go all the way ?

Probably they have to go through some process to give them the authority to enforce this.

Has there been much in the way of an increase in hospital admissions? From what I can make out this lockdown mk2 is only based on increased positive tests among the young who rarely require hospitalisation.

I think its barmy to change the rules when everything is going ok. Relax them perhaps get back to normal..

If we are headed for disaster, why wait until Monday?

My granddaughter just came up with a pertinent question that hadn't occurred to me. Why are all these largely asymptomatic youngsters being tested in the first place?

My view precisely, it's the same as those who have to be told to wear a seat belt or not to stare at a phone when driving.

It's a sad day when regulations have to be brought in to enforce basic common sense.

Trouble is, common sense isn’t very common

Totally agree, just came back from the town centre, youngsters heading for the pubs and not a mask in sight.

Been reported that Frances cases have gone sky high in the last 48 hours, oh & the boys are back in town.

No masks if they are going to the pub is hardly surprising

There were crowds of them all roaming down the roads....no concerns for others, that’s after Solihull has been put on notice.

Nobody is required to cover their face in the open air so you won't see many people wearing a mask in the street no matter where they are going or coming back from.

Saw a chap yesterday wearing a mask whilst cycling, and a woman wearing one whilst driving. Just don’t understand it
