Captain Sir Tom Moore
« on: Sep 14, 2020, 09:14:13 AM »

I saw him last night being interviewed by Piers Morgan.. Brilliant.. What a guy..
He is so modest.. Funny... and Truthful.. With a twinkle in his eye..
He is an inspiration to us all..
Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.

I read a bit of his autobigraphy.  He didn't have a happy first marriage, fortunately his second wife made up for it.  He has a stoic quality, a strong person.
Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.

Somebody close to him must be one hell of a promoter too. There have been several copycats that raised some money but nothing like the millions his efforts did.
So long and thanks for all the fish

I watched that interview also, what a wonderful man he is and so inspriring,  it must be said also, there were no moans and groans like you get with a lot of elderly people.
The only way is up....

I think the man promotes himself... Such a likeable character.. and so 'alive'..
Unlike many (celebs) he is not self important.. or greedy.. just a lovely guy who has found fame at 100 simply by taking many steps forward..

And he talks about the future in a positive good way.

Everything will be alright in the end, and if it’s not alright, its not the end.
