Occupational Pension
«

A man today was complaining that he had worked for the council for 40 years and he did not get any occupational pension where as others did who had worked for the council for a shorter time did.
I asked him if he had paid in to the pension scheme. Of course the answer was no.

I expect he is thinking that he probably should have paid into the scheme when he had the opportunity, assuming that he did, but if he didn't but he should have, then there might be grounds for legal action.
