I can't be arsed trying to circumvent what the law says about it, it's the law & that's that.

There are plenty of laws that I don't agree with such as speed limits being the same no matter what time of day or night, but I accept it & stick to them.

Yet again, I think we just need to be sensible.  A group just happening to meet in the street? No issues with a brief chat, then off they go, fine.  A drunken all night rave of 100, no way.  Fortunately those aren't on my agenda 😆
Exactly my own feelings - yet our Home Secretary seems to regard them as  equally apocalyptic occasions

Now I am really puzzled. In Scotland, children attending school can, whilst on the school premises, socialise with as many of their friends and acquaintances as they wish. However, once they pass out of the school gate they are forbidden to mix with children from more than one other family. Nicola Sturgeon refers to this as 'an apparent inconsistency' necessary to keep schools open -beats me. If asked to describe it, my own description would be 'bloody stupid' - and that's being polite
