I`m glad I found this forum, It`s provided a few giggles.  It could be renamed ''Pensioners with attitude'' ;D
Ah a newbie who has not been scared off. Welcome.
So long and thanks for all the fish

It takes a lot to scare me off, so be warned !!  Thanks for the welcome.

Attitude is always interesting even if it`s a bad attitude.  I`ve owned and run a camping site for the last 135 years - so could tell you a thing or two about attitude.  One thing is for sure, you cannot do that job without some kind of sense of humour.

Most newbies get a lot of welcomes but seem to vanish as quickly as they appeared. I think many come here for advice on some specific pension issue but this site is more used for chat and news discussion than giving pensions advice so they wander off - sometime without any post beyond their first.

Don't ask awkward questions! Remember the words of the song 'but no gal will give in. to no man who's 900 years' Our new friend still has a lot of leeway!

Wonders how long before Jax rereads her earlier post and realises you're not being personal.... 😉

when, as children, we asked one of our aunts how old she was, her reply was 'One and an onion' which left us bemused

The question was asked because you said you had owned and run a campsite for 135 years. Now whether that was intended to be 13 or 35 I don't know.......

Well, lets put it this way - it seemed like 135 years - please don`t lose any sleep over it  ;D
My mother said I was old when I was born - she reckoned I had been here before.
I am 76 ok.... born June 17 1944.
