I imagine he has a small team of hair specialists that are flown to his side every time he needs a quick dab of macassar and re-quiffing. That ain't cheap..Any extravagance quickly written off by his tax elves.

i had mine cut today...£6.00
they were amazed  when i told them that in darkest India it is still possible to get a haircut for twenty pence and a good haircut at that
being flash i pay 100/- about £1.10
the hairdresser told me her hubby paid 350 in Goa
but smiled when i asked how much might Mr Tony round the corner charge me today for a haircut...

I reckon the country has got its money back after paying the president $4 for his first term.
The $70k referred to was claimed against tax for hairdressing on a TV series apparently. Well if the taxman accepted it it must be right. I seem to remember some of the previous presidents having their hair done whilst in office at the taxpayers' expense. Was it Bill Clinton? that had his hair done on the tarmac in Airforce 1?

I'm not sure but he certainly had a lot of personal service provided by at least one intern on the government payroll.

Apparently it was the most famous haircut since Samson's.
