My OH enjoys cooking. He made a beef casserole yesterday with onions (sorry zoony but I can't imagine not liking the most flavoursome ingredient) and carrots and a good dollop of red wine. Mashed spuds and sprouts.

Tonight we'll eat what's left with the addition of sausages. New spuds and cabbage.

I would suggest that if you can make and freeze your own soup and meals then do that instead of Parsley Box.  They were sued once for dishonest marketing.  The meals look fantastic in the brochure and on the website, but in real life they resemble dog food and they all taste exactly the same.  Awful.  I used to work there and the amount of people who called to tell me they threw them in the bin is ridiculous.  It's a lot to pay for awful food.

Yes, it's always tricky for other people to be the judge of what you find nice to eat.

Even you Mike could only give them a 3 star. I have just enjoyed a bacon, liver, carrots, red cabbage and potatoes £4.39 and I left some for Roxy. Mini meals ideal for people like Mike are just over £3 and a good selection. My review for Trust Pilot was head head I DO NOT TRUST TRUST PILOT REVIEWS. My one star review not printed but dozens of 5 star which I am pretty sure Parsley Box placed them selves.

Yes Mike I would like you to try a few Wiltshire mini meals which I am sure you will enjoy and save a few quid at the same time. If you do not I will reimburse your money spent. My money safe because every meal so far I have had, I have enjoyed.

Me too, but I get a weekly delivery from Tesco, which includes everything else, milk, bread, wine, etc., which is so convenient

I spread my favours! Typical Tesco order includes bread, milk, meals, sliced beef and ham, Pringles, apples, every now and then cleaning materials, etc, so a couple of bottles keep me topped up

I expect you can get wine cheaper at Tesco when you know what you like Mike. I am still on a learning curve. Decided not keen on reds.
