Tenterhooks
« on: Oct 08, 2020, 01:31:11 AM »
Anybody else waiting for the other shoe to drop? I speak of that great ex-Covid denier in the White House who's enormous display of hubris so far might well be punctured at any moment.
I don't wish the man ill but I think that his SuperPres act might still be premature. Even bearing in mind that his doctors are, amazed at his strength and powers of recovery which are frankly, unpresidented. (See what I did there? huh?..) and the subject of papers being written for the most prestigious and foremost medical journals in the world, he may yet relapse badly.

Thinking on that, in Yes Minister Bernard came up with a suitable award for Mr. Trump - Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Michael and St. George - GCMG, or in the vernacular - God Calls Me God!

I saw, I liked, I smiled.  😊

He may be fortunate and genuinely be mildly affected.  If that's the case he'll put it down to his phenomenal strength and will. And probably suggest that serious illness and death are caused by weakness.  😷

Perhaps he read the stats. Despite being 74 and looking overweight his odds against serious harm are still very good despite the hysteria the media have driven up. This virus is deadly mostly to those with not too long to go anyway albeit with enough exceptions to make taking more care than he seems to worthwhile.

Mr Trumps doctors are now saying he has no symptoms and even has antibodies.

In the debate Kamala said if the doctor says take it I will, if Trump says take it I won't. I cannot believe any doctor in his right mind would say he as no symptoms unless he had none in the first place, and its been a con job by Trump.

Nobody who is not as big a liar as himself works for him. They all work for the Republicans. I understand he is currently a Democrat. But then considering how many times Trump has changed his party affiliation .....

Didn't they do that treatment where they inject them recovered from the blood of survivors? If so he likely does have.

It is so distressing to live in the present situation.  So many diverse confusing statements and rules ...I am getting heart palpitations out of the blue....It is not the thought of death, but the terryfing thought of been rushed in an Ambulance to a very busy overcrowded Hopital, full of Corona dying patients....

I want to die in comfort while a sleep in my own bed. Full stop.  Am I asking for too much ? 8)
