As the chemist is only 100 yards away I never checked but I'm sure I've seen adverts offering a free mail service for prescriptions. Not sure how that could be done with some prescription drugs though. When I had Tramadol on prescription I think the chemist had to pick up a physical prescription form or at least that's what they told me.

Just checked and plenty seem to do it free

Even Lloyds is advertised as free postal delivery https://www.nhs.uk/apps-library/echo/

Same here, our pharmacy is a Morrisons, which is a 2 minute walk, & on the odd occasion where an item is missed by the surgery or the pharmacy it can be rectified very quickly.

I can see it being handy for those out in the sticks but Morrisons pharmacy already does free deliveries.

Lloyds was free for about six months..which was very nice..There's a wrangle about it going on as we speak..

According to that third link I posted the NHS think it still is. Plenty of alternatives that are advertising as free.

Yes, I'm aware of it but as I said, it's being discussed at the moment between the GPs and Lloyds. I'm content to be patient.. as I've already paid..
