No ta. I prefer the butchers version.  Same with Scotch pies, I've bought one here occasionally but they're not the same.

I'd love to try square sausages, at least they wouldn't roll around under the grill  ;D

I bought some because they'd been talked about on here but the ones I bought were all stuck together and got mushy when I tried to separate them.. I like the idea still, but can't go looking at this particular time..

Easiest way to prevent sausages from rolling around under the grill is to cook them in the frying pan

MR, I agree but since the diet I grill everything (apart from the odd fried egg) sausages (reduced fat) bacon (medallions) black pudd, tomatoes etc.
Having said that, I agree that the fried stuff tastes better  ;D

Zoony, I always freeze them and then stick a blunt butter knife between each one and they separate no bother. Just take what your going to use and put the rest back in the freezer.

I think sausages taste the best when cooked in the oven.

They do, I brown them for a moment in the frying pan then put them in the oven to cook.
