Yes,I would if you had asked earlier.You can't place a bet on an event where the result is already known.Or did the nurse specify a time scale?

I'll keep phoning, as I do every day, & at some point I'll eventually get through to the ward & I just hope the relevant nurse is there.

Some days it can be well over 20 calls, many of them engaged tones, before I get to speak to anyone.

Sorry to hear you're having such a time getting news of your wife Phil, it's not as if you're phoning 5 or 6 times a day is it ?   A little understanding wouldn't go amiss.
