That sounds like the kind of tactic i would come up with!

Me too.

A nearby alarm would always go off when they were away & it got quite annoying.

They got the alarm installer to come & check it so each time he went out & looked up at the external sounder I set our alarm which makes our external sounder beep.

He must have thought there was a fault that he couldn't resolve & it ended up with him disconnecting their alarm.

It has stayed on all morning so far so I've pressed all off and will wait to see if it comes on again. I only use one of the 4 supplied sockets. If I knew where I'd put the other 3 I'd try swapping it.

It has been working reliably for days now. When in Lidl today I spotted the same set of sockets. I wonder if my neighbours did earlier and if Lidl had a return because they were just randomly switching on and off  ;D

The socket is a bit high for my wife. She can reach but has to stretch and has a dodgy back.
