My husband has his letter, neither of us has seen the money.

I assume you mean the Winter Fuel Allowance Katkin? The Cold Weather payment isn't quite the same, we don't all qualify for those.
Just because you’re offended doesn’t mean you’re right.

Could be staff shortages with the virus so payments will be later?

My letter said call them if it hasn't arrived by 23rd December. I think it arrived in the bank before the letters last year.
So long and thanks for all the fish

We haven't had our letter yet & I never check if it's been paid, I just assume it has.

So long as our Direct Debits get paid I also assume that the pensions are going into the account because the account isn't used for anything else.

I forgot all about that, but it's a bit early for us.  We wouldn't expect it for a couple of weeks yet.  Still, £200 and £20 "Christmas bonus"  (Do we still get that?) - that will pay for a couple of cases of wine to keep us warm.
You'll have had your tea.

In the past I always get the money into my account the first week of November followed by the letter a few days later. This year had the letter over a week now but no money. So if they can get the letters out and on time, why are they not doing the same with the money??
