All of the above's views are no more valid than yours or mine, they are not elected by us, the government are supposed to govern.  They will need expert advice on certain matters i.e. Covid, and reserchers,  but why a general advisor with no experties, what purpose does he fill or have I missed something?

Reminds me of an incident long ago when i was in the Royal Observer Corps.  There was an annual get-together at an RAF base with air experience flights, demonstrations etc.. and also a short church service.  At the end of one hymn, a fellow member remained standing and singing....  he had been singing a different hymn that had an extra verse.

I agree that while people have different opinions,  these so called 'Celebs', sports people, musicians etc.. should stick to their day jobs.  As for the four UK nations, there is a case for setting their own policies on some matters.  Much as it may cause some confusion, one size does not fit all.

Something that could never happen again for at least two reasons.
My wife was a voluntary unpaid classroom helper and told me about this.

The children were learning times tables and chanting them out as a group in class.

The teacher sent one lad out on an errand and while he was away told the class they must stop reciting the tables when she lifted her hand.

The lad returned and she started them off chanting some table or other. Part way through up went the hand.

The only sound to be heard was "Naa Na Na Ne Naa    Naa Na Na Ne Naa"
So long and thanks for all the fish
