Me too.

Have you been able to speak to your wife recently? I do hope she's being well cared for.

I was wondering if I had missed an update from Phil.

Back to the virus - I have turned into my mother.  She had a spray bottle with diluted Zoflora.  I have just read Ashy's post but I'll carry on spraying.

Thanks GrannyMac, I've only just seen this after I spotted the reference to it in Sheila's post.

No, I haven't spoken to her for 12 days but I've managed to speak to the nurses on every day except two, today being one of them.

She's sitting up & now eating some solids, after being on Complan type liquid meals & she is doing some physiotherapy, so a lot better than when she went in but still far from well.

Sounds like she's over the hump, as it were..which is great news.. I'm sure you're prepared for how slow her recovery might be but at least you can stop dreading and start planning..Best wishes to you both..

Thanks both of you.

Yes, I more positive than I did for the first couple of weeks, that's for sure.

I'm hoping that it won't be too long before they can start dealing with the findings of her scan.

Fingers crossed that you will be able to visit her before too long.  Are any of the nurses able to help her with her mobile?  A bit of encouragement from you might buck her up.
