Scotland is closed

As of 6pm tonight entering or leaving Scotland without a reasonable excuse is banned and anyone caught doing so could be slapped with a £60 fine. :):):) This is unenforceable with some lawyers saying it's not even legal.

If lockdowns worked, we wouldn't need two.

If things don't ease up down south then it may not be long before England is also closed.

It's when the lockdowns are lifted & the pubs get crammed that causes the problems.

That's why we keep needing them.

It's not as if there was only one road between Scotland and England.  There are numerous roads crossing the border as well as flights from several airports and also the railways.  Doubts have been cast upon the legality of such a ban as it would seem to be outwith the powers of the Scottish government - and virtually unenforceable too.
You'll have had your tea.

Very sad state we are sliding into, especially when lockdowns don't work.

The lockdowns work, it's the bits in between that don't work.

No we are out of the lockdown, as England is locked down its very quiet, plenty of room to keep your distance.

That's what Whitty and Vallance will tell you but the infection rate was already falling before both national lockdowns were imposed and also for many of the local lockdowns.

Feel free to ignore if this doesn't fit preconceptions

Not suggesting they are wrong, it's very encouraging news, but I would expect respiratory infections to rise at this time of year.

Well former Pfizer Vice President of Pfizer Mike Yeadon certainly appears to think they are in the link which you posted elsewhere.

In this exclusive film, former Pfizer Vice President Mike Yeadon discusses his thoughts as to why the lockdown was a mistake, and why the government strategies to manage the pandemic are only making things worse.

I don't think I have seen this presentation on this site:https://www.facebook.com/unlockedunitedkingdom/videos/409747283542470/

Just wondered - are we talkiing about the same "they" here. I assumed you meant lockdowns.
If you were talking about infections it's the Mail article I posted earlier that agrees with that.
