when my great-granddaughter asked me why was i so old
i explained i had two birthdays every year

My first Birthday I had was when I met Micky !!!! I never knew what a Birthday was .....it was not a "Thing" in Italy...

its strange that Granny, when i was a youngster christmas was not a holiday in Scotland, just as New Years Day was not a holiday in England... glad they both saw sense... May-day was al;so a Sctots holiday a long time before England got it...
