Hugh i have read somewhere that Highland Earl is owned by
the same distillery as Famous Grouse.
I prefer " Grouse " as a blended Whisky but for me the best Malt
i prefer Ardbeg a bit more expensive than the Glens but very tasty.

Little Bob  I had the feeling it was made by the same distillery, there is a difference in tasted, but not much. I have been drinking famous grouse for years. It was because of covid I tried Highland Earl. I do my shopping at Aldi where it is easier to keep a social distance and I didn't wish to go to Tesco. I enjoy both but now prefer Highland Earl.

I should have been born in London but I was born in Wales. Then pretty much straight the way, we were moved to Loughborough to be housed in 2 bed terries with a shared out side toilet. Across the road from a bomb making factory. Still remember the address 24 Queen Street which is no longer there. The same town where Maywalk lives a grand old lady who used to post on the PF,

Alex, It's a Gaelic name. You pronounce it "Day-gis" But spell it "Dageus" ;)
