Christmas Deccies

Remember these  ?   trees are a bit posher nowadays and are sometimes colour co-ordinated to match the curtains :):)

I have mixed colours and coloured lights.  I like the old fashioned ornaments like these.  I read a comment recently about the fashion for blue flashing lights looking like the emergency services have arrived at an accident.  😆

We can't stand flashing lights. They usually come with a control box these days with static being an option.

The tree in my lounge has only white lights and silver baubles.  We sometimes have a small tree in the kitchen and it has coloured lights.

Jenny has about 2 or three extremily thin glass coloured decorations that I had in Italy in 1946 !!!!!!  One is a silver bell and it does thinkle......!

We have a kitten who is about five months old.  He is a gorgeous little monster.  A local residential home asked for trees on freecycle so I gave our tree and decorations to them.  He just gets into as much mischief as possible so he would be a nightmare with a Christmas tree.
