Racist, misogynistic, slut shaming. Worse still people might enjoy it.

You wouldn't have many films without those!

The story I read went something like..

Insufficient diversity in the cast (so racist)
Females regarded as sex objects (so misogynistic)
Sandy changed from Miss Prim and Proper into a bit of a vamp to get her man (so slut shaming)

As I said though I think the worst crime was that so many enjoyed it despite all those shameful things.

My view - WGAF what these idiots think and/or say.

Are there people out there with nothing better to do than scrutenise films and find fault?  My daughter needs a perminent job, I wonder where you find one like this?

Thats probably why I like the film so much, non PC, WOKE, Diverse, LGBTABC etc.

Ban all Western film - clearly racist. Ban all war films - they will upset the squeamish. Ban all detective films - the bad guy always loses, which is elitist. Ban Tom and Jerry- too violent and also racist - the lady who can’t work out what to do about Tom other than sweep him out of the house with her broom is clearly a lady of colour, so stereotyping!
What’s left? The Sound of Music? Shouldn’t that be banned on the grounds of cruelty to music?

Dad's Army now gets an advisory before broadcast..

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2021/01/04/delingpole-bbc-slaps-woke-health-warning-on-classic-sitcom-dads-army/

Before airing a 1971 Christmas special of the classic sitcom, it issued a warning on BBC iPlayer: ‘Contains discriminatory language which some may find offensive.’

The ‘discriminatory language’ in question was the use of the phrase ‘fuzzy-wuzzies’ by the doddery Corporal Jones (played by Clive Dunn) to describe the frizzy-haired warrior enemies the character fought in the Sudan in the late Nineteenth century wars against the Mahdi.
