cold weather payment

Has the 25 pounds cold weather payment been stopped?here in wales the temp has been 0 for at least a week according to the met office has anyone recieved it

I think you have to be on pension credit to get it or maybe some other benefit but I guess you'll know if you are eligible.

You’ll get a payment if the average temperature in your area is recorded as, or forecast to be, zero degrees celsius or below over 7 consecutive days.

You’ll get £25 for each 7 day period of very cold weather between 1 November and 31 March.
This tells you if your area triggered the payment

i just checked that link it say zero for my area, i'm bloody freezing

that sounds like a good idea, does anyone have any suggestion... ;D  i do have about three years left on a five year visa for the sub-continent of India

We had the same here today. Never got above freezing
We've had taxpayer friendly weather recently. Runs at about 1C day and night with only the occasional foray below freezing.
