The fines are being reviewed and the ladies believe they have been let off, I certainly hope so. The rules should be clearly laid out in print and not verbal where misunderstandings can be made.

More confusion that on a bike, or go for a run you can go 7 miles or more.  ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

It's confirmed. The charges have been dropped and the fines quashed - quite right- and they have received an official apology - nice to see common sense prevailing

That's right - but the only advice for Scotland I can find in the present situation is to stay in your own local district area (apart from essential journeys of course) Pretty generous here, not so much in urban areas, I suppose)
