Indeed. Plus there are 100 billion stars in our galaxy and we can see 100 billion galaxies. Plus the galaxies that are now too far away for their light to have reached us and that never will thanks to the expansion of the universe itself.

The bigger they are the quicker they go through their lifetimes and go supernova (bang). There is a limit to how big they can be but I forget what it is - maybe 20solar masses or so. Doubtless Google knows if you are interested.
