Although we are as physically nothing in the universe we are aware of it.
That ability makes us unique.
The stars are not aware that they are there. We are.

Proof? Whist the actually stars may be unaware of us, surely, given the sheer numbers involved, surely there are other sentient beings out  there?

Crabby?

Why 'crabby'? It's a perfectly reasonable question... Who does?

UY Scuti a supergiant with a radius of 1700 times the radius of our sun.
Now that's big.

I was referring to the stars matter as an object not to any life that
 might be on their planets.

There's a lot of matter and plasmas are conductive. Lot of stars too. Can you be certain none of them sentient? There are SF stories or maybe that should be fantasy suggesting they could be.

Watching TV news often makes me wonder if I am as I seem to inhabit a different universe from the one many of those featured do  ::)

How far shall we go go?

Maybe there's an old Oak tree growing somewhere
that is more intelligent than Einstein was.
When flowers wave about in the wind they are just talking to each other.

You've given yourself away now Your Royal Highness. May I call you Charlie? Anyhow I always wondered... When you talk to your petunias do they ever reply?
