now it seems it wasnt 1500, but several deaths added to that days total
it is still horrifying..

Analysis of the detail reveals many places worthy of criticism and necessitating ratification to confirm the trend of conclusional synopsis suggested, for example:

'A death can be registered with both COVID-19 and Influenza and Pneumonia mentioned on the death certificate. Deaths where both were mentioned have been counted in both categories.'

If it were to be presented as evidence prior to disclosure and my case were dependent upon it's analytical presumptions; I would not want it included, for fear of forensic cross examination revealing inaccurate displacement, both by statistical claim, but principally the non inclusion of many relevant criteria not included, but pertaining ...

As has been said many times in a number of different places, Covid-19 on the death certificate isn’t always the primary cause of death. Doesn’t much matter - the poor soul is still dead.
The whole question is why is the NHS threatened to be overwhelmed yet again come a numerically worse than average winter.
Been saying this, as, of course, have many others, not just for years but for decades  - the NHS is over administered, under managed.
