More interesting than some I dare say. It's a good job Brian doesn't live here  ;D

The other two incidents were less dramatic. One was an argy bargy between teens leaving school leading to vandalism to a neighbours wall and some sort of assault further down the road outside a garage.

The other was just theft of a van from a carpark across the way. I heard nothing from the police about any of them but the murder about 150 yards away was in the local paper. One of the reports gave links to CCTV used. None of it was mine just the couple buying booze in local shops.

Here is a bit of wanton vandalism/theft. The victim was a Romanian bloke living a few doors away.

In finding that I noticed another incident - theft from a neighbours daughters car. The police had that but from the neighbour who I'd given it to. The culprit was actually nailed  by CCTV from a cash machine where he used the stolen bank card - silly sod had the pin in her purse too.

This is the long video of the schoolkids. Quite alarming. I have not made it public just available from the direct link. The main action doesn't start til about 7 minutes in. The main culprits appear to be two girls armed with screwdrivers used to prise the capstones from the wall and one seems to stab a boys rucksack. The wall repair was paid for by the school. Paddy (mentioned in the title) is a diminutive Indian lady who has lived there for donkey's years.

I was checking out the upgraded kit and spotted this.

Does anybody remember the  Reginald Molehusband adverts? With a vets a couple of doors away there are constant annoying visitors parking to go there - sod's law dictates that on return from the supermarket you'll have to park a way off and hump the bags because callers have taken the available spots. There is a big car park across the road but even with zero parking skills they chance their arm on busy main road. Sometimes they manage to park badly enough to occupy a spot that could take two cars. At least if they clock a car the new CCTV is plenty good enough to show their number but I've avoided upload the 4K version and cropped out the approach where you can see the number.

Lol.

Are your cameras fixed or have you gone for PTZ cameras?

No I couldn't be bothered to steer them around and you can guarantee if one was scanning around and some plonk hit my car the camera would be watching something else.

I first installed some other than the one on the front gate after a completely mysterious no other vehicle involved to my knowledge motorbike crash which wrote off a neighbours car. All my camera showed was a shower of sparks between parked cars. I'm a nosey sod.
