comfort

May be an image of text that says 'AT NIGHT: CAN'T FIND A SINGLE COMFORTABLE SLEEPING POSITION... IN THE MORNING: EVERY POSITION IS COMFORTABLE.'

I use an Android media player to watch films and boxsets from disk having downloaded a variety of each.

Amongst this evenings viewing was a Vera (I have watched them all before but found that my memory is sufficiently poor to rewatch them without realising that most of the time). I was quite baffled by the one I watched this evening. Even more baffled than normal. I eventually realised that I had nodded of three quarters of the way through and woke up a quarter of the way into the next one.

;) Well done, did it myself the other night with 'Car SOS' - took me a while to figure out why a TR6 had morphed into a Citroen Van!

;D ;D  On the other hand, we're probably all pretty lucky to've lived long enough to start regretting it.. No bad thing.

I was pleased with myself for realising rather than just thinking it seemed to be a long old case....

Gives me solace Mike and Klon. I suppose age defrays cognisance and it's difficult therefore to separate the effects of lockdown as an inclusively defraying constituent more lately perhaps?

However I do find myself sleeping (dozing off) a lot more these days. Looking back on my mother I recall she was the same, but did score 99.9, before the almighty ran her out going for her century!

So perhaps, I've got a few more runs left in me still, apparently sleep intervals when needed are an important part of a long life.

I doze most afternoons or early evenings, depending on the time I have my main meal. Usually for a couple of hours, but occasionally longer. On one occasion some months back, I spoke to my sister in law about seven, not having had my normal doze, lay back in the recliner, and the next thing I knew it was one in the morning. That was, however, exceptional

Because I'm an owl and like to be up into the early hours I don't normally feel tired during my day.. which admittedly doesn't start until just before 11 but it's generally enough time to do what I need to do. I guess if you've lived your life from 7 to 10-ish cos of work etc it's awfully difficult to change and why would you?
Age defrays cognisance is such a wonderful phrase for it. ;D
