It's so crass it's funny..and in a very serious Movie.. but I can't remember which..The Bible? Don't think it was The Ten Commandments..The Robe?.. I dunno but it's a moment that lives on in my my memory.. ;D

It’s not just the accent. The chance of a Roman soldier making such a comment is just about zero minus. At the time Romans didn’t worship, nor accept the concept of, a single god. They worshipped a goodly number of gods. Most soldiers saw their principal god as Mithras; no way would a soldier see a condemned Jewish criminal as the son of any god the soldier would recognise
