My first wife worked the council’s education department, finding grammar school places for children in grammar schools elsewhere whose parents had moved into Surrey
She often came home chuckling over names with which some poor children had been lumbered.
Sadly, I can only remember two. Blossom Potts, and John Thomas Standing, and I assure you, these were genuine
