A covering of snow this morning and very cold but sunny. Returning home from visiting my mother we saw a beautiful array of bright yellow crocus, really brightened our day. Keep warm everyone.

Same here (East Kent), covering of snow, but Crocuses out and dwarf Daff's waiting to bud. Worse to come tonight I fear, so I have just been out clearing and salting/gritting the front path.

No Snow but Poole harbour is freezing over
Back to ironing
HUSBAND: Shall we try a different position tonight?
WIFE: That's a good idea... you stand by the ironing board while I sit on the sofa ,drink beer and fart.

The Snowfall
Snow slipped silently last night.
I crept from the cosiness
of my white, downy duvet
into Sunday morning,
finding it’s fabric echoed
in the billowing softness
that swathed the garden
in magic.

The sun is trying to come through a bright white sky, Roy is out clearing the paths around the house whilst I am sitting inside with central heating on talking to my friends
