Watched the coverage of the men's mountain bike cross - country final this afternoon on T.V. Good viewing. But at the end of the race the usual commentator was there ready to thrust a mike into the winners face, asking numerous questions......'How did he feel etc'.....the poor fellow could hardly get his breath to answer, but tried somehow. This happends a lot. The same thing happend to the winner of of the men's marathon, who was on his last legs so to speak. I felt like saying...........Can't you wait a minute while they recover! Or words to that effect!
Looking forward to the closing ceremony. Think it has all been fabulous, and a lot of effort gone into the London Olympics.
