NICE SURPRISES
« on: Sep 03, 2012, 05:35:29 PM »
:) Just wanted to share this.....surprise....my grandaughter Emma phoned this afternoon..............asking could she come to see me, with her new boyfriend....It is her first one.     Her Mum and Dad had told me about him but have not yet met him,     So I do feel special!   They were on the way to the beach which is only a stones throw from me, when she phoned.      I was delighted to see them, and  she looked so happy  'love's young dream.'     He seems a very nice young man.   She is seventeen and I think he's nineteen.    Made my day.         :)      :)      They have come back and, gone for some chips for us all......feeling hungry no doubt.

A nice surprise indeed.  I love surprises, nice ones that is. :)
"Don't you know?" said Miss Marple.
"No, I don't," said Craddock.  "Do you?"
"Oh, yes, I think so," said Miss Marple.  And she twinkled at him.

We all no doubt remember our first love, I certainly do, sadly mine passed away about twenty years ago I heard through a friend just after it had happened, sad really. :'(

I certainly remember my first love, happily, I am still living with her!
Harley Quin is a mystery. He appears and disappears unexpectedly and by strange tricks of light and reflections.

I too remember my first love, and like Harley I married him.  It will be 42 years in November. :)

What lovely stories they all are and a testament that if you stick at it-- it works!  Celebrated our 38th a couple of weeks ago.  :-*
