I am just sounding people out at the moment, having discussed it with someone via a message  :)

Would anyone be interested if I started up a genealogy section under the Hobbies and Interests?

A fascinating subject. We (well, mainly my wife) have traced my maternal grandmother's side back to the 16th Century and it is so easy to get hooked. She has also found living cousins of mine in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK which I didn't know I had. "Go ahead," is what I say!  :)
Harley Quin is a mystery. He appears and disappears unexpectedly and by strange tricks of light and reflections.

Interesting subject, Silver.  Go for it. :)
"Don't you know?" said Miss Marple.
"No, I don't," said Craddock.  "Do you?"
"Oh, yes, I think so," said Miss Marple.  And she twinkled at him.

Thanks all, it is a fascinating subject and very addictive.  For every question that gets answered it raised about half a dozen more.

I think it's a great subject.  I just wish I lived in an area where at least one of my ancestors came from.  I've tried tracing both my husband's and my own family trees, with some limited success. But as the ancestors range from Ireland and London to the north of Scotland, it can be an expensive hobby!

I'd certainly be interested in a genealogy section.

Yes, definitely an expensive hobby as I tend to do it the hard way and send for certificates.  At £9.25 a time you can tell I don't do much at a time.

Will investigate now as to how I can get the group set up!
